[Abstract] Objective To evaluate the application of abdominal enhanced CT scanning in preoperative staging evaluation and postoperative recurrence monitoring in patients with colon cancer. Methods 60 cases of colon cancer were selected as the research objects in our hospital. Theenhanced abdominal CT scanning was used to assess preoperative TNM staging and evaluation of recurrence after surgery, and the pathological diagnosis was regarded as the gold standard for the evaluation. ResultsTheaccurate rate of TNM I, II, III and IV by abdominal CT scanner before operation were respectively 73.33%, 88.00%, 100.00%, 100.00%; the accurate rate of recurrencediagnosis inTNM I, II, III and IV after operation were respectively66.67%, 50.00%, 100.00%, 100.00%. The preoperative and postoperativediagnosis of TNM, I, II showedsignificant differences in comparison ofpathological diagnosis (bothP<0.05). ConclusionAbdominal enhanced CT scanning can effectivelyassess the preoperative TNM staging and postoperative recurrence inpatients withcolon cancer, which can clearly observe the invasion ofadjacent tissue, with high diagnostic accuracy, so it is worthy of clinical application and promotion. |
